Flynn FREE After Unsealed Docs Show Swampy FBI Caught in Lie

The United States Justice Department ended the prosecution of former national security advisor General Michael Flynn on Thursday. The move came after new documents were unsealed, showing the FBI lying about what Flynn had said in the past. According to Sidney Powell, Flynn’s attorney and former federal prosecutor, a group of ranking individuals at the FBI were determined to make something up to prosecute him. Text messages between agents were revealed showing active conversations about the intention to construct an essentially fake case against Flynn.

General Michael Flynn initially pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI, which he has sought to walk back in recent times. Those around Flynn have said the reason he pleaded guilty was twofold: (a) the cost of battling the Justice Department had drained him financially and (b) to protect his son (Flynn was told they would prosecute his son if he did not plead guilty). President Trump has brought the Flynn case up many times in the past, mentioning in March he was “strongly considering” a pardon. Trump tweeted on Friday, “Yesterday was a BIG day for Justice in the USA. Congratulations to General Flynn, and many others. I do believe there is MUCH more to come! Dirty Cops and Crooked Politicians do not go well together!”

General Flynn served in the U.S. Army for 33 years with deployments all over the world. He worked in military intelligence and quickly moved up the ranks to become both the director of intelligence at the U.S. Central Command of the Joint Staff under President Obama. In 2014, he retired from the military.  Flynn was a supporter of the Trump campaign, part of the transition team in 2016 and national security advisor to President Trump. The former general was known to criticize the neoliberal establishment – creating enemies in high, powerful places.

Michael Flynn is an American patriot who was railroaded by a vengeful, neoliberal establishment. The unsealed documents and dropped case are a win for the good guys.
